The Western Guitar Method course WGM101 is for anyone who wants to learn Guitar as a hobbyist or wants to pursue it as a profession eventually. It covers the fundamentals of reading music through staff notation. Easy and Simplied Syllabi makes learning the instrument absolute fun.The course will lay the foundation for acquiring clarity of beats and teach how to focus on the stability of the note value using Metronome. The OM book has got necessary study material and reference video tutorials.In every level the student has to put his creativity to compose simple tunes. Course Format
12 weeks, one 45 minute session with expert per week.
Objectives
After completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Understand the Insturment.
- Learn the basics of Music Reading.
- Understand the 7 seven musical notes.
- Understand Note and Rest Values.
- Initiation into improvisation of musical phrases and patterns
- Learn to write thier own music.
Anyone who is 7 years and above, with or without prior musical backgorund can enroll. Must have sincere interest in learning the instrument.
Introduction to Guitar and Position
- Getting familiar to Guitar: Strings,Bridge,Neck etc.
- Applying 8,4,2 and 1 stroke per string with the use of right hand.
Introduction to Left Hand.
- Playing with Index,Middle and Ring fingers on first 3 Frets.
Introduction to Left Hand
- Playing with the most imp Little Finger. Playing the notes on 4th fret and extending it to play the notes on the 5th Fret also
