Concepts in Physics are made more interesting by combining inter-disciplinary concepts from art, movement, music, fundamental values and theater.  This course will enable a set of students to create a storybook, script a play, complete with art, props, and background music score for a specific concept in physics. In this course, children will learn the concept of mass and gravity, gravitational pull by the earth, between planets and on the moon. 

 

Course Format

Course Duration : 2 weeks. 2 Hour Sessions from Monday-Friday.

Objectives

Students will

  • Produce a complete play of about 45 minutes in duration.  
  • Learn creative writing, new vocabulary and use of sentences in various tenses and person
  • Produce creative art for props
  • Learn to create and produce an appropriate background score of music and a song 
  • Learn appropriate movement to express gravity, weight and mass
